Halloween BLUES:-(
Im feeling BLUE!!! Its halloween and Im stuck in my bed. Im sick:-( Everyone's going to the halloween parade in church street where the gay community will have their annual halloween parade--and that I know will be a fun thing to watch.
Actually I was looking forward to this event-Halloween--because back in the Philippines we never had this "merry" Halloween where kids do their trick or treat and older "kids" have their "halloween party" where people find an excuse to dress-up like "sluts"--back home halloween is associated with remembering your loved ones dead and visiting them. Which reminds me that this is the first time that I wont be able to visit my pop--we always had this gathering and we bring lechon and pray together in his resting place-well no biggies because I had always believed that he's always in my heart and i dont have to talk to a marble stone with a cross just to say that I miss him.*a lot*:-(
Back to my halloween blues--- I actually got up early today because I had an exam at 8:30--good thing my brother was kind enough to drive for me*I still dont have a canadian license*-bec of the stupid strike!-- I was not feeling well but I had to take the exam or else i'll have to wait for another 6 wks. Well I took it and almost drowsed off because I was taking my colds medicine and there were a lot of formulas where at the end I just look at the pattern of my answers and shaded the parts "where I think would fit the pattern".haha..i never told my mom about it..I just told her that the exam was ok but Im not expecting too much from that exam. well I was sick so I have the reason if ever I failed in that exam...haha.lol
When i went back home, i was really3x tired and i felt like i want to faint in the subway--there were jolly kids with their costumes which are so adorable and i just want to take a picture of them BUT i dont have the strength to chitchat with them. Thankfully I managed to get home...and now Im stuck here in my room and got nothing else to do. I know I should rest but Im tired of sleeping---my mind is wandering off--to the halloween parade--well theres always next year.
anywayz i kinda celebrated halloween yesterday in financial services class so its a consolation. I will post some of the pics in photobucket and post it here....
Oh well im just gonna wait for the trick or treaters tonight and give out chocolates and candies.:-)well it is what it is! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

To Blog or NOT TO--
To Blog or Not To? that is the question. Well, Im clearly posting this so I did BLOG. Well a BLOG can be compared to an ultimate friend...you share and spill secrets (uhhmm that you broadcast to the whole wide world) to , you simply hang out with and sometimes you left behind cause you find other "friends"(like watching tv, window shopping, reading books and mags, social networking sites, chat..and other FUN stuff to do) interesting BUT however like a true and loyal friend its simply there waiting, not judging you and JUST PLAINLY THERE FOR YOU anytime. YES! I have abandoned by blogspot account years ago but after almost 4 years its still there and I just laugh at what I rant about the old days..(haha.BUT im not giving you the account--my pictures look horrible!)not that Im just Oh so gorgeous now but Trust me I look hideous!!!
Anywayz I decided to revive my blogspot account because in the past few weeks I really come across a lot of good reads. Its in my "I heart reading" list so you can check it after reading this. The blogs that I chose to read are pretty much match my interest...much as I like to get interested in Business, Finance and Accounting..Im not really into that(*which I think I should learn to try to embrace and love it because Im in that field*)--what I randomly like is FASHION, Photography, Music , Travel, positive thinking and Techie stuff---Im pretty much a normal being ey!
I really admire these bloggers who religiously post pretty good stuff in their blogs.
The least I could do is to put their sites so that more people would come across their awesomeness.
>>Randomly...Im thinking of buying a new cam
This is an Olympus E-450. This is relatively cheap compared to its rival. This is only about $240. http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/olympus_e450_review/ you can read its review and be convinced!...well I really really really want to buy this
but its 2x as much as the olympus one and I dont have enough moolah cause Im planning to buy a good pair of black boots. You know shoes are great investments because they can take you anywhere.*wink*
Oh I hate to be POOR and not be able to splurge on things that I love and I dont intend to stay this way forever. But how will I get rich??? I dont have any idea. maybe a lotto 6/49 perhaps...or marrying a filthy rich old man...hahahaha.lol or BETTER YET I stop this nonsense blogging and do my presentation due for next week:-)haha
so Babush for now! and enjoy the rest of the day/night! XD

Greener on the Other Side!
This is my first post for my nth blog*God knows*. Well I never seem to keep up with my old blogs. I hang out a lot in the "cyberworld" these days because Im pretty new to this place that Im living right now and dont have uber close friends to hang out with.Well, though my sis friends are kind enough to be.friend me and welcome me here in Toronto. But still there are my sister's friends and there like 10 years older than me.*generation gap*
I just moved from the Philippines around 3 months ago and the reason why? i moved to this effing cold place is simply because the grass is much greener in North America. *besides the point that my whole family is here*
Is it a dream come true living in a "first world" no!*me econ teacher would beg to disagree* the most appropriate term is developed country??? Uhmm that would be a YES and a NO
YES- because the food here is really cheap, well if you convert it to peso it pratically has the same price but men the buying capacity is here really high. You worked all day in the Philippines for about 400 to 500 a day, however thats only a minimum hour's wage here.
so that goes pretty much with other stuff...like shoes, bags, clothes--when you come to think of it all the prices are really the same. an LV bag in the Philippines would be around 50000-thats a price of a handbag YET here in Canada its still $1000....again the difference is the BUYING CAPACITY!
NO- well what I hate about living here is you pretty much do everything. You drive, do your own laundry, cook for yourself and many other stuff which back home you have your ever trustable househelp"manang" to do it for you. Im actually the official dishwasher of our house.*applause* thank you*bow*-
well thats about it..the 3 months stay here is humbling. The licensed I got back home which I worked hard for is not acknowledge--I had to take further studies to take the board exams here. I had a hard time looking for a job in my field especially at this time*recession baby* when in the Philippines, companies call you to work for them..However I had no regrets at all, I know that in God's perfect time I would be able to do what Im destined to do!
So with a big smile I welcome you all to partake to this craZEy!!! experience of mine. Be with me when i laugh, cry, ramble, love, hate, stumble, get up, play, party, travel.....etc. and I hope of that at the end of this I could proudly say that: " I had run the race that GOD has set before me.:-)
kudos!xx
